Drivers to Watch

This year Ferrari is very strong, so it’s ideal to keep an eye on drivers Carlos Sainz Jr. and Charles Leclerc who may surprise, but will likely not surpass the Red Bull cars, which are the current champions.

Last year, Red Bull had a significant advantage due to new technologies implemented in the car engines, but this year promises to be more balanced.

Predictions and Analyses

Red Bull is likely to maintain its lead, as it not only has excellent drivers but also one of the best cars in the competition. Not to mention that the calendar and tracks are familiar to the drivers.

Ferrari is expected to positively surprise by adopting more modern cars with much more competitiveness, but still, due to the distance of Red Bull from the others in the previous year, its cars are the favorites.

Regulatory Changes and Their Impact

Formula 1 rules have undergone some changes, the first aimed at reducing carbon emissions, in addition, the formula will have a new penalty system that can be applied to the teams.

The most striking and impactful change is the possibility of a car using up to 3 different internal combustion engines, which will be made possible through swapping—a factor that could change the course of the competition midway.

Impact of the Calendar on the Competition

The new calendar may give an advantage to the drivers, as the time between races allows for better preparation of the teams, which could result in increasingly thrilling races.

Indeed, Formula 1 in 2024 promises to be even more exciting with faster and more technological cars and especially with more competition due to advances in the sport.
